1. 2 ½ lbs Lean Ground Turkey
  2. Garlic powder
  3. ¼ cup low sodium chicken broth
  4. 1 packet Onion Soup Mix
  5. 1 8oz can of tomato sauce
  6. 1 small can of tomato paste
  7. 4 Del Monte® tomatoes, diced
  8. 4 cans Spicy Chili Kidney Beans (make sure they are pink!)
  9. Chili Powder to taste
  1. In a large pot, brown the turkey meat over medium-high heat.
  2. Season with garlic powder.
  3. Add the chicken broth and packet of onion soup mix.
  4. Add diced tomatoes, and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to medium and add tomato sauce, tomato paste and kidney beans.
  6. Stir together and season with Chili powder to taste.
  7. Bring to a soft boil and reduce heat to simmer.
  8. Simmer for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  1. Serve over rice (try brown for a healthier option) and sprinkle with low-fat cheddar cheese.
