Preheat oven to 350oF. Place 4 pieces of banana on each of 4 bread slices. Mash banana onto bread and top with remaining 4 slices. Whisk milk, eggs, vanilla, and cinnamon in glass pie dish. Working in batches, dip sandwiches in mixture and let soak 1 minute per side.
Spray large skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Heat over medium heat and cook each 2 minutes per side. Transfer to baking sheet and bake for 8 minutes. Top with sliced strawberries and powered sugar and maple syrup if desired. |
