 Eat...and Run!

If you’re a full-time employee (or a full-time anything), you’re probably pressed for time. You know you should exercise regularly, but waking up early can seem next to impossible—and the last thing you want to do when you get home at the end of the day is head to the gym. So how can you incorporate fitness into your busy schedule? The perfect solution is a lunch-break workout.

Wondering whether it’s really a good idea to devote your lunch hour to a workout? It is!

Here are a couple of reasons why:

Exercise will make you smarter. Whenever you move your body, your brain is involved. The more you challenge yourself, the greater benefit to your brain. Exercise positively impacts the hippocampus, which is the part of the brain that deals with learning and memory. Once you get moving, you’ll find that you can focus better all day long, which in turn makes you a better employee, student, parent, and friend.

I love reading your get fit tips, and especially the “lose the belly fat” ones. My problem is that I’m no spring chicken anymore, and I’m not in the best of health. I do want to exercise, but can't do anything too physical. What kind of exercising would be best for me (and others in my same situation)? Thanks.
